A South Florida business owner is challenging a citation he received from Lake Worth Beach code enforcement regarding a sign that shows support for his preferred Presidential candidate.

Michael Klein owns the Kavasutra Kava Bar and the building where it's located, at 508 Lake Avenue. On the roof of that building is a giant sign reading "Trump 2024."

Klein says he received a citation because he doesn't have a permit for a mural, but he claims his Trump sign is not a mural because it's on the roof instead of a wall.

Klein claims he received the citation a day after residents of a condo next door to his business left a note on his door, complaining about the sign.

He's hired an attorney who will be present at City Hall when a hearing is held on the issue May 30th.
